Gabe Cross isn't your typical little boy. His father left when he was a little boy, and he grew very sad. He was short for his age, and overweight to boot. He missed his daddy. He started having trouble with kids at school, and he and his brother weren't best friends anymore. One night he had a dream and he found out that he wasn't really dreaming at all. He was living his dreams. They were real, and Gabe learns that he has been dream traveling. This is a story about forgiveness and gaining control. It's about self-confidence when it was once lost, and it teaches a lesson that being the under-dog isn't always the worst thing in the world. Gabe learns to accept himself for who he is, and that it's alright to be a little more than ordinary.
